I am so proud of my daughter

For so many reasons but yesterday we went to the Science Fair and I found out she got 3rd place!!! That's so cool!!! She was thrilled!!! She got 2nd place in her classroom and 3rd place in the entire School!
She had so much fun making this project and she thought it looked the best!!

Happy Birthday to my Husband

It's been a while I don't come here and so much have happened. Including my husband's birthday a few days ago. I LOVE baking chocolate cake and he's been asking me to make a fondant cake for him since his last birthday and this year I decided to make his wish come true, LOL.
It was not easy!!! I did a MMF recipe and that thing is so hard to work with. I was hoping he wanted a white cake, but he said: BLUE!!! :-(
I was so tired, because I not only baked a cake, made fondant from scratch and also tapioca pudding, and cleaned the house for a dinner with friends.
Anyways, here is a picture of the cake ;-)
My husband said he won't ever ask me to make fondant cake again, too much work, but it was delicious!!! ;-)

Home Sweet Home

After all the packing, unpacking, painting, fixing, picking colors, arranging furniture I can finally say I AM HOME!
We have painted 2 bedrooms. My daughter wanted hers purple and I picked blue for the master bedroom, but turned out it was not the right blue. LOL I wanted a grayish blue and is not a completely different blue. LOL It's staying like that for now, in a few months we'll repaint our bedroom when we paint the rest of the house.

Then yesterday my daughter asked to eat outside. It was such a beautiful day, and it was so relaxing to eat outside.

Cutest Picture Ever!!!

I did a few mini clippies for Valentine's and also donated to HeartsforHaiti. A few days ago I checked feedback at HeartsforHaiti and there was this picture from her mother saying she loved my bows. I was so excited and I thought this picture was so cute.(the mother gave me permission to share the picture)

Every time I see this picture, it makes me smile. :-))))
